01:22 PM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia's ( NVDA ) recently unveiled Blackwell artificial intelligence chip could cost $30,000 to $40,000 each, Chief Executive Jensen Huang said in an interview with CNBC Tuesday.

Huang said the company spent about $10 billion to develop the processor.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) declined MT Newswires' request for comment.

On Monday, Nvidia ( NVDA ) introduced the Blackwell graphics processing unit that the chipmaker said will allow organizations to run generative AI at up to 25 times less cost and energy consumption compared with its predecessor.
