02:27 PM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI has named Dave Dugan, a former advertising executive at Meta Platforms ( META ) , to lead ad sales at the artificial intelligence startup, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Dugan has been named vice president of global ad solutions for OpenAI, after serving as vice president of global clients and agencies at Meta, according to the report.

OpenAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
