Market Chatter: Oracle's Health Software Receives Poor Ratings in US Department of Veteran Affairs' Internal Report
Jun 7, 2024 5:55 AM

08:32 AM EDT, 06/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle's (ORCL) high-profile medical records customer, the US Department of Veteran Affairs, says the company's software is failing to improve its primary function of patient care, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing the department's previously unpublished internal survey data.

Fewer than 1 in 5 doctors, nurses, and other department employees said the company's product enables them to deliver 'high quality care', the report said, citing the survey.

The VA has been renegotiating its 16 billion contract with the company due to worries bout the system's poor performance and employee feedback, the report added.

Oracle did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
