07:04 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Palantir Technologies ( PLTR ) is pledging to invest $1.5 billion pounds ($2.05B) in the UK by 2030 while receiving a deal with the UK Ministry of Defence to expand the use of its AI software, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

Palantir ( PLTR ) is expected to finalise a 750 million pound, five-year agreement with the Ministry of Defence as part of the expansion, replacing an existing 75 million pounds, three-year deal, the unnamed source told Bloomberg.

Palantir ( PLTR ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of Palantir ( PLTR ) were up 1.5% in Thursday's premarket activity.
