12:45 PM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) is in talks to buy Israeli cybersecurity firm CyberArk Software ( CYBR ) , The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

CyberArk shares were up nearly 15%, while Palo Alto Networks' ( PANW ) stock was down 3.2% in recent trading.

The potential deal could be completed as soon as this week, the sources reportedly said.

If finalized, it would be among the largest technology acquisitions of the year, according to the report.

Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) and CyberArk did not immediately respond to requests for a comment from MT Newswires.
