07:22 AM EDT, 10/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) is expected to announce a deal to buy conservative-leaning journalist Bari Weiss' The Free Press newsletter and name her as editor-in-chief of CBS News as early as Monday, The New York Times reported Friday, citing three people familiar with the matter.

The avowedly pro-Israel, right-leaning 41-year-old journalist is selling her newsletter for around $150 million in cash and stock paid out over time, the Times reported, citing two people familiar with the deal.
