10:36 AM EDT, 10/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PayPal Holdings ( PYPL ) has completed a first business payment using its PYUSD stablecoin through an invoice sent to Ernst & Young on Sept. 23, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

Bloomberg said the invoice amount was not disclosed. The transaction was carried out through SAP's (SAP) digital currency hub, which enterprises use to send and receive digital payments, according to the report.

PayPal ( PYPL ) and Ernst & Young did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comments.
