10:25 AM EDT, 04/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PJT Partners ( PJT ) secured a license to do business in Japan in late February, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing the Financial Services Agency's website.

The New York-based boutique investment bank has hired at least three people in Japan since 2023, the news service reported, citing LinkedIn posts.

A spokesperson for PJT declined Bloomberg's request for comment.

The company didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
