05:30 AM EST, 11/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm's ( QCOM ) takeover interest in Intel ( INTC ) is cooling down amid complexities related to the potential transaction, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

Sources also told Bloomberg that Qualcomm ( QCOM ) could still reconsider the takeover later or look into acquiring portions of Intel ( INTC ) instead.

Qualcomm ( QCOM ) and Intel ( INTC ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comments.
