02:05 PM EST, 11/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- QXO (QXO) has made an offer to acquire Beacon Roofing Supply ( BECN ) , the Wall Street Journal reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be reached before the new year, the people reportedly said, adding that there is a possibility talks could fall apart. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to the WSJ.

QXO and Beacon did not immediately reply to requests for comment by MT Newswires.
