07:42 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rakuten is reportedly looking to take its credit card business public in the US, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.

The Japanese e-commerce and financial services company is also considering a partial sale to a strategic player, the report added.

Rakuten didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
