09:00 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rio Tinto (RIO) has held discussions with the Democratic Republic of Congo about developing the Roche Dure hard rock lithium deposit, which is one of the biggest in the world, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Rio Tinto did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
