06:38 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rivian Automotive ( RIVN ) suffered vehicle damages after a fire broke out at the parking lot of its Normal, Illinois manufacturing plant on Saturday night, Reuters reported Sunday.

No injuries were reported and Rivian is investigating the incident, a company spokesperson told Reuters.

The electric vehicle company did not confirm the details of the affected vehicles, according to Reuters.

Rivian did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
