09:20 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Royal Bank of Canada ( RY ) is reorganizing the leadership structure of its US and global investment banking units, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday, citing an internal memo.

Matthew Stopnik will become head of global investment banking, while Vito Sperduto will become head of the US RBC Capital Markets unit, The WSJ reported.

The new post for Stopnik is part of a broader effort to merge regional units into a global structure, according to the report.
