06:30 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ryanair Holdings ( RYAOF ) expects a six-week delay in aircraft deliveries due to an ongoing strike at Boeing ( BA ) , Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.
The strike is likely to last for three to four more weeks, and deliveries would be pushed by two additional weeks after the walkout, the report quoted Ryanair's ( RYAOF ) chief executive officer, Michael O'Leary, as saying in an interview.
About 10 jet deliveries scheduled for the first half of next year could be postponed to the latter half, O'Leary said, the report said.
Ryanair ( RYAOF ) expects to miss its annual target of 205 million passengers this year, instead reaching 200 million due to jet delays, the report said.
