Market Chatter: Salesforce Expects to Hire Over 1,000 Workers to Help Boost Agentforce Sales
Nov 9, 2024 1:29 PM

04:04 PM EST, 11/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Salesforce ( CRM ) is preparing to hire over 1,000 workers to sell Agentforce, its artificial intelligence-powered business tool, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing chief executive Marc Benioff.

The customer relations management company launched Agentforce on Oct. 29 and initial customer response has been "incredible," Benioff said in a message to Bloomberg. The company's AI platform allows users design and deploy digital assistants, dubbed agents, able to perform nearly any business function without human supervision.

Salesforce ( CRM ) had around 72,700 employees at the end of its most recent fiscal year, according to the company's annual report for the 12 months ended Jan. 31.

The company did not immediately respond to a request from MT Newswires on Friday seeking comment.
