06:49 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Senior Chinese trade negotiator Li Chenggang is expected to visit Washington this week for talks with US counterparts, the Wall Street Journal reported late Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Chenggang will meet with deputies of US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, Treasury officials, and US business community members, according to the report.
The discussions come as the US and China extended their pause on higher tariffs through early November, the report said.
