Market Chatter: ServiceNow Makes Changes to RiseUp Training Program, Cuts Workers
Dec 11, 2024 1:49 PM

04:21 PM EST, 12/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ServiceNow ( NOW ) is restructuring its RiseUp training program because fewer than expected graduates are getting jobs and there is criticism over diversity efforts, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

Over the past year, several employees were fired and important officials left the company, including contractors who helped teach students, the media outlet reported.

RiseUp has been updated to a new learning system called ServiceNow University, while employee count and budget remain the same as last year, Bloomberg reported, citing a ServiceNow ( NOW ) spokesperson.

The company is also making changes to its diversity, equity and inclusion approach after the corporate sector has received backlash in recent months.

ServiceNow ( NOW ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
