09:44 AM EDT, 03/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Silgan ( SLGN ) has indicated interest in acquiring German medical packaging firm Gerresheimer, Reuters reported Friday, quoting two unnamed sources familiar with the situation.

The US packaging company is working with advisers, the report said, adding that there is no certainty there will be a bid and that a deal will materialize.

Silgan ( SLGN ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
