03:25 PM EDT, 06/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Snowflake (SNOW) plans to close its investigation into a cyberattack that targeted as many as 165 customers, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing an interview with Chief Information Security Officer Brad Jones.
The company hasn't found any unauthorized access to customer accounts since early last week, Jones said, according to Bloomberg.
On June 2, the cloud data and analytics company reported hackers initiated a "targeted campaign" against Snowflake users using single-factor authentication techniques, Bloomberg reported.
The extent of data theft remains unclear, Bloomberg said. Snowflake plans to release tools this month to help customers adopt security measures like multifactor authentication.
Snowflake didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
Shares of Snowflake fell 2.9% in recent Thursday trading.
