05:14 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Three online sellers on Flipkart, which is owned by Walmart ( WMT ) , have sued the Competition Commission of India over the latter's investigation into Flipkart's alleged violation of the country's competition laws, Reuters reported Saturday, citing court filings.
According to the report, the sellers are looking to pause the regulator's process and "set aside" its investigation report. The sellers claim they were asked to submit data for the investigation but were later named as accused, which they argue is against due process, the report said.
Flipkart and the Competition Commission of India did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
