Market Chatter: Starbucks' China Chair Belinda Wong Retiring

11:02 AM EST, 01/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Starbucks' ( SBUX ) China Chair Belinda Wong will retire on Jan. 24 after 25 years with the company, Bloomberg reported Friday.

Wong transformed the company's China operations "into our largest international market and has made Starbucks ( SBUX ) one of the most admired and beloved brands in the country," the report added, citing Starbucks ( SBUX ) Chief Executive Brian Niccol as saying in a statement.

Starbucks ( SBUX ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
