Market Chatter: Stellantis' CEO Carlos Tavares to Address Italian Parliamentary Committee Next Week

09:08 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis' ( STLA ) chief executive officer, Carlos Tavares, will speak to an Italian parliamentary committee on Oct. 11 about the company's manufacturing in the country, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a company statement.

The CEO will "provide the most exhaustive picture of the group's automotive production in Italy," the report said, quoting the statement.

"The complex international and European situation of the automotive sector requires rapid responses," the statement added.

The carmaker also informed trade unions that the EV sector in Europe is in deep trouble, the report said, citing Stellantis ( STLA ).

Stellantis ( STLA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
