Market Chatter: Stellantis Engineers Asked to Return to Office
Jun 17, 2024 6:03 AM

08:36 AM EDT, 06/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) engineers have been working onsite at least three days a week since January, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing the company's engineering and technology head, Ned Curic.

When a new car is introduced, some engineers work at the office as many as six days, Curic was quoted as saying in an interview.

"It's impossible to engineer vehicles remotely," Curic reportedly said.

Remote working depends "on the need to work more or less often physically together," a company spokesman reportedly told Bloomberg.

Stellantis ( STLA ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
