08:24 AM EST, 01/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis' ( STLA ) Italy production fell by 37% last year amid a nationwide decline in car manufacturing, according to FIM-CISL union figures cited Friday by Reuters.

The company produced 475,090 vehicles in Italy last year, down from 751,384 a year earlier, the report said.

Car production fell by 46%, to the lowest since 1956, while commercial vehicle production declined 17%, the report said.
