Market Chatter: Stellantis Set to Begin Production of Small Leapmotor Electric Vehicles

10:27 AM EDT, 03/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) will begin the production of Leapmotor's T03 small electric cars at a Stellantis ( STLA ) plant in Poland as early as Q2 as part of the companies' joint venture, Reuters reported Friday, citing two people close to the matter.

Stellantis ( STLA ) will assemble semi-knocked down car parts into finished vehicles at its facility in Tychy, the report said.

Stellantis ( STLA ) and Leapmotor weren't immediately available for comment, Reuters said.

Neither Stellantis ( STLA ) nor Leapmotor have immediately responded to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
