10:58 AM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) plans to restart operations at three of its plants in Europe by early May after work stoppages started last week due to a strike at its supplier, MA France, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a spokesman for the company.
The automaker found alternative solutions for the sourcing of parts, the report said.
"We have our own sourcing, we are doing stamping, welding... so we do that internally and we have our own system that allows to supply those plants," the spokesman was quoted as saying.
Stellantis ( STLA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
