09:35 AM EDT, 03/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group ( SMFG ) has named Stephanie Bowker and Yoshiyuki Natsuyama as co-heads of corporate and investment banking coverage for its Americas division, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing an internal memo.

The appointments take effect Monday, the memo reportedly said.

Bowker most recently served as the company's New York head of autos, transportation & mobility, while Natsuyama was the joint general manager of securities business planning in Tokyo, according to the report.

Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group ( SMFG ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
