06:08 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) has filed a lawsuit against Wei-Jen Lo, its former senior vice president who recently joint Intel (INTC), over the non-compete clause of Lo's employment contract with the semiconductor company, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing an email from Taiwan Semiconductor.

According to Reuters, Taiwan Semiconductor claimed that "there is a high probability that Lo uses, leaks, discloses or transfers TSMC's trade secrets and confidential information to Intel, thus making legal actions necessary."

Intel and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
