Mar 21, 2025 8:29 AM

11:06 AM EDT, 03/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Target ( TGT ) trimmed its salaried employee bonuses after sales and profit slumped amid weak consumer spending, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing sources.

Sources said the company's salaried employees in their corporate offices, stores, and distribution centers would receive 87% of eligible 2024 bonuses, payable by the end of March.

A company spokesperson confirmed the figures to Bloomberg, adding that Target ( TGT ) considers diverse factors, including its financial performance, to determine bonuses.

The company witnessed a marginal dip in sales and profit in fiscal year 2024 compared to a year earlier.

Target ( TGT ) didn't immediately respond to a comment request from MT Newswires.
