05:28 PM EST, 03/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TC Energy's ( TRP ) Keystone oil pipeline has gone offline because of operational issues, Reuters reported Thursday, citing four industry sources.

The 622,000 barrel-a-day pipeline transports oil to Nebraska from Alberta, Canada, according to the report.

The company informed shippers about the outage, though it didn't specify the issue or the possible duration of the interruption, Reuters reported, citing one industry source.

A company spokesperson couldn't immediately comment on the matter, according to Reuters.

TC Energy ( TRP ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
