03:53 PM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Teleflex ( TFX ) is negotiating a deal to acquire Biotronik's vascular intervention unit for 500 million euros ($525.7 million) to 1 billion euros, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

An agreement could be finalized as soon as this month, a person reportedly said.

Discussions are still underway and could potentially fail. The sources said Biotronik might also choose to retain the asset for an extended period.

Neither Teleflex ( TFX ) nor Biotronik immediately responded to MT Newswires requests for comments.
