04:45 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) attempt to convince a US judge to throw out a federal agency's lawsuit against it for allegedly tolerating the harassment of Black workers appears to be failing, Reuters reported Thursday, citing court proceedings.
U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley repeatedly rejected Tesla lawyers' arguments to dismiss the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's 2023 lawsuit against the company, which has been accused of failing to look into complaints of harassment of Black workers at its Fremont, California facility, according to the report.
Corley did not indicate when she plans to issue a ruling in the case, Reuters reported.
Tesla did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
