03:40 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is asked by US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to provide records about the loss of power steering on its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing a letter posted on the regulator's website.
The auto safety regulator wants the company to turn over the requested records by July 24, according to the report.
The company and NHTSA did not immediately respond a request by MT Newswires seeking information.
