May 23, 2024 11:05 AM

01:43 PM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) Chief Executive Elon Musk on Thursday mostly avoided questions pertaining to his commitment to bring a low-cost electric vehicle to market, Bloomberg reported.

In response to an inquiry about whether President Joe Biden's tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles would make it easier to bring a cheaper EV to market, Musk said at the VivaTech conference that it's difficult to answer questions about a public company that are "of such a significant nature," Bloomberg reported.
