07:57 AM EDT, 07/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is not expected to proceed with its planned investment in India anytime soon, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk postponed a planned visit to New Delhi in late April and his team has not made any further inquiries with officials in India over purported capital issues, Bloomberg's sources were cited as saying.

Tesla did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
