07:55 AM EST, 12/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is in early talks with Austin officials as it weighs whether to make it the first Texas city where Tesla deploys its driverless fleets, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing an email it obtained via a pubic records request.

Tesla did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares were 3% higher in recent premarket activity.
