The talks signal Tesla is reconsidering entering the Indian market after putting investment plans on hold earlier this year, the report said.

It's uncertain that the discussions will lead to an agreement, and Tesla is also holding talks with others, the report said, citing a third source.

Tesla and DLF didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.

Tesla shares rose 4.5% in recent Tuesday trading.
