Market Chatter: Tesla Rehires Some People Dismissed From Supercharging Team

01:00 PM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) started rehiring some of the 500 workers from the supercharging team that Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk dismissed last month, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the situation.

Max de Zegher, formerly the director of charging for North America, was rehired, Bloomberg said.

The exact number of rehired workers wasn't immediately clear, Bloomberg said.

Musk and de Zegher didn't respond to requests for comment, Bloomberg said.
