Market Chatter: Tesla Shareholders Urged by Glass Lewis to Vote Against Musk's Pay
Oct 20, 2025 11:53 AM

02:16 PM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) shareholders were urged by proxy adviser Glass Lewis to vote against Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk's $1 trillion compensation package, Bloomberg reported Monday.

The potential dilution to shareholders, as well as other terms of the proposed pay plan, "warrant significant concern," Glass Lewis said, according to the report.

In a post on X, Tesla called the recommendation "misguided" and said it fails to recognize the "staggering financial results delivered under Elon's leadership."
