06:13 AM EDT, 05/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) intends to begin shipping components to the US from China for the production of Cybercab and Semi trucks from the end of May, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing a person with direct knowledge of the matter.
The planned move comes after the US and China recently reached an agreement on a 90-day suspension of reciprocal duties on each other's goods.
The electric vehicle maker had suspended plans to ship the components after US President Donald Trump last month hiked tariffs on Chinese goods to 145%, according to the report.
Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
The company's shares were up 1.6% in recent premarket activity.
