08:12 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA)'s appeal in a dispute over license plates against Sweden's Transport Agency was rejected by a Swedish appeals court, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a statement by the Gota court.

Trade unions supporting Swedish IF Metall's mechanics, who have been on strike since last year, started a postal blockade that made it difficult for the company to access license plates for new vehicles.

As a result, Tesla sued the Transport Agency for failing to ensure that it could access the necessary license plates.
