08:04 AM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) sales of China-made electric vehicles increased 19.2% in September from a year earlier, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing data from the China Passenger Car Association.

Deliveries of Tesla's China-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles rose 1.9% from August, according to Reuters.

Meanwhile, Tesla's Chinese rival BYD recorded a 45.56% yearly jump in passenger vehicle sales in September, the report said.
