05:57 AM EST, 02/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) sales of China-made electric vehicles fell 11.5% year over year to 63,238 units in January, Reuters reported Friday citing data from the China Passenger Car Association.
The US automaker's deliveries of China-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles declined 32.6% from December, the report said.
Meanwhile, sales of Tesla's Chinese rival BYD's passenger vehicles increased 47.5% yearly to 296,446 last month but fell 41.8% from the previous month, according to Reuters.
Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
