01:44 PM EST, 11/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) has paused work on a wind farm off the coast of New York following Donald Trump's US presidential election victory, Reuters said Tuesday, citing a statement from Chief Executive Patrick Pouyanne.

The wind project was being developed by the French energy company via a joint venture it formed with Corio Generation and Rise Light & Power in October 2023, according to the report.
