06:21 AM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) would pause six production lines at five factories in Japan due to a shortage of parts, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a company spokesperson.

The company will decide on Friday whether to resume production, according to the report.

Toyota ( TM ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
