04:29 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) -backed autonomous driving start-up Pony.ai plans to file papers for an initial public offering in the US as early as this week, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.
The autonomous driving company, also backed by Saudi Arabia's Neom, seeks to raise as much as $300 million from the IPO. Among possible investors is Guangzhou Automobile Group, according to the report.
Sources told Bloomberg that the timeline and size of the IPO could still change.
Pony.ai did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
