04:49 PM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TPG (TPG) is nearing a deal to lease office space at the Spiral, the 1,031-foot, 66-story office tower that opened last year in Manhattan, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The alternative assets manager has been in talks with Tishman Speyer, the building's developer and landlord, looking to lease between 200,000 to 300,000 square feet, according to the sources.
Messages to TPG and Tishman Speyer from MT Newswires seeking comment were not immediately returned.
Other tenants at the building include Pfizer ( PFE ) , AllianceBernstein ( AB ) and HSBC ( HSBC ) .
TPG is based in Fort Worth, Texas, but has presence in Manhattan on 7th Avenue and on Park Avenue, where its unit TPG Angelo Gordon continues to operate after being acquired last November.
