08:00 AM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has initiated a recall query into 94,275 Stellantis ( STLA ) Jeep Wrangler 4xe hybrid SUVs manufactured between 2021 and 2024 due to loss of motive power, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing an NHTSA statement.

The company had recalled the same model in 2022 over issues related to engine shutdown.

The investigation covers vehicles that have received the prior recall remedy and those not covered in the previous recall, the report said.

NHTSA and the company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
