07:13 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Trip.com ( TCOM ) investor Prosus fully sold its stake in the Chinese online travel agency in a $743 million block trade, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

Prosus sold 14.5 million shares of Trip.com ( TCOM ) at $51.40 apiece on Tuesday in the US, marking its final exit from the company after gradually selling shares over the summer, the report said, citing terms of the deal.

Neither Trip.com ( TCOM ) nor Prosus immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Shares of Trip.com ( TCOM ) were down 3.5% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
